mango smoothie

This weekend, we dined at a Thai Burmese restaurant. By the way, gluten free and dairy free options are plentiful in this type of establishment. As a treat, my girls ordered something called Mango Danechin Smoothie which of course contained a lot of sugar. They loved it and I wanted to try to recreate a healthier version at home. This is great for a quick breakfast, healthy snack or even dessert. 


1 fresh mango cubed

1 cup frozen mango

1/4 cup whole fat greek yogurt

1 cup whole milk  ( I use raw milk, but more on that another time)

Juice of 1/2 a lime

Honey to taste


  • In a blender or Vitamix, add all ingredients and blend until smooth
